The other weekend, while my wife took my kids to one of their classmate’s birthday party, I decided to stay at home and do some chores around the house. I cannot really stand kids parties.. Anyway, I got up early, mowed the lawn, did the laundry, got some groceries and cleaned out the gutters so needless to say, vat around 5 in the evening, I was beat! I gave my wife a call telling her I was done and would rest when suddenly I felt woozy and blacked out. The next thing I remember, I was in the emergency room because of too much carbon monoxide. Apparently, I didn’t fully put out the fire place which pumped a lot of the gas in the house. Thankfully my family got home and saved me. Now I have to buy carbon monoxide alarms to assure the safety of my family from this harmful gas (if too much is taken in).
